My Musical Journey
I began playing the violin at the age of five, and after years of dedication and inspiring guidance from my own teachers, I knew music would become my life’s path. I graduated from Kingston University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Music (Honours) and went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance at Birmingham Conservatoire in 2004.

Throughout my studies, I developed a deep understanding of performance and gained hands-on experience teaching in classrooms, small groups, and individual settings. These experiences shaped my approach — combining technical precision with creativity and encouragement to help every student reach their potential.

Alongside teaching, I continue to perform regularly — including as a musician in the Army Reserves — which keeps me connected to the wider musical community and current performance practices.
